En français "Eleanor Rigby" a été adaptée par
Les Diamants et par Erick Saint Laurent. Les français du groupe Let Hit Be ont chanté la version originale tout comme Nolween.
Adriano Celentano a chanté, en italien, "Ma come fa la gente sola" tandis que les Finlandais de Topmost interprétaient "Eleanor Rigby" dans leur langue tout comme Katry Helena.
En suédois la chanson devenait "Ellinor Rydholm" et était chantée par Monica Zetterlund et par Charlotte Perrelli.
En portugais, devenue "Minha Menina", la chanson est interprétée par Marcio Greyck tandis que le chanteur tchèque Arakain a chanté dans sa langue Eleanor Rigby.
Quand a Chocho Takamuneek, il chante une curieuse adaptation "Erina Rigubi".
En anglais, il y a plus de 350 versions différentes, parmi lesquelles la superbe interprétation des Vanilla Fudge.
La version de Doodles Weaver est plus dans le style de B&M, à l'extrême de Bide, tout comme celle de Jimi LaLumia & the Psychotics Frogs.
Parmi les interprètes féminines, citons Joan Baez, Nana Mouskouri, Aretha Franklin, Big Maybelle
La Handsome Family a aussi interprété une bonne version. Ce groupe est plus connu pour son interprétation de la bande originale de la série True Detective, "Far from any road".
